For use under any shirt or under your favorite light jacket.
Even if you have a jacket with some padding this is a very nice additional piece of gear for added protection.

Although its discreet, our protectorshirt has what it takes to help protect you from falls with CE approved foam padding and hard shell outside armor. All critical areas are covered- including the chest, spine, shoulders, elbows, and forearms.
All armor pieces are equipped with an adjustable strap. This is to help ensure that they are held in place and stay where they need to be.

Everything is held together with a light, mesh nylon to keep you running cool.
 
The neck is lined with a comfortable neoprene bead.

The kidney belt also offers great support for long rides.

Sizes include Med/Large for riders up to 6' and XLarge for riders over 6'. 



XES Back Protector

Hard armor PVC vertebra plates and CE foam are the basic, and critical, highlights of the XES back protectors.

They do have adjustable shoulder straps and kidney belt. These are critical for keeping the armor plates in position so you can use it under any shirt or jacket (and should!).
The kidney belt also offers great support for longer rides.

Our XES Backprotectors come in 2 sizes. The S/M/L size is the typical one-size-fits-all backprotectors and has 6 spine plates. The XL is meant for anyone 6'-0" or taller, or anyone looking for a little more protection of the tailbone, and has 7 spine plates.

These are racing approved back protectors and are a manditory requirement for all racing organizations as well as all reputable riding schools and track day organizations. And although some jackets or suits will say they come with a 'back protector'- please know that a piece of foam is not a back protector or spine protector- it is a back pad. Which, may make it a little more comfortable for sitting in a foldable steel chair it is not a good means of a spine protector.

If you are a serious rider and serious about decreasing your chances of serious injury in the event of an accident then you should have a serious back protector. It really is cheap insurance.
